Not a Good Day

Today I am tired and frustrated. I got up to pour Marissa a cup of milk and my right side started shaking uncontrollably and milk went everywhere. My kids saw this and I think they were scared, that broke my heart.

On days like today it's hard to understand why this is happening and why my body is turning on me. I just want to be able to take are of my kids and I'm so sick of being in this bed.

The bills are pouring in already and I have no idea how we are going to pay them, much less get a doctor to see me for follow up care and my medicines when I have no insurance. And without the medication I have almost no control over my body.

They are pretty sure that I can get a medical card for April but not beyond that for my follow up care.

It's in God's hands and I'm trying my best to trust in Him with all my heart.
I know He has it all under control but I also know He understands my confusion and frustration.

what is up with your state's medical benefits?? Is that what you are talking about when you say "card"??? My hubs got laid off Sep 2008 and we qualify for NJ Kids Care.. which gives us all free health insurance and the boys get free dental.. your state doesnt have something like that for those who dont have the means to purchase insurance on their own?? I cant believe that?!?! I mean you are a family of 4 with only one income.. you should be able to get state aid girlfriend..

You have to look into your state's Medicaid program, at the moment you are disabled, you must be able to get state coverage. Look into it. I am praying for you!

I found this online http://chfs.ky.gov/dms/Eligibility.htm
You might have already seen this, if not, it might be helpful to you.

One more thing, since your aunt and mother are staying with you, that makes you a family of 6, you should qualify for assistance!

I would just write and tell them I could pay a certain amount a month and I'll bet they'll take it even if they threaten otherwise.

If you could talk to a doctor about contacting the drug company, sometimes those companies will help with the cost of the drugs.

I'm praying it works out, and we KNOW it will because our God works for us!
